Job brief

Our jobs involve developing, maintaining, and integrating state of the art, mission critical solutions for core insurance and record keeping systems, in an international context for a lead-ing European Insurance Group.
In collaboration with an IT partner organization, you will act as Senior Software Developer in our IT solution team. You will ensure that customer requirements are developed in accord-ance with design standards, programming rules, and so forth. Having a solid expertise, you will be the primary point of contact for the software development team.

Your responsabilities

• Follow the UITS design and architecture principles and work closely with the Solution Architect
• In charge of developing our future IT solution for Billing & Comission, as well as technical analysis
• Responsible for technical analysis and bug fixes in the event of a fault
• Support the integration and deployment process
• Apply the corresponding module tests/UNIT tests to ensure that the user stories work as expected
• Assist the test team during the test phases
• Ensure that all tasks assigned to you are accomplished on schedule, within budget, and to the proper standard.

Required skills

• University degree (Bachelor/Master) in IT or other relevant studies
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in JAVA based “back-end” and
• HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript based “front-end” development
• Minimum 3 years practical experience with JAVA based back-end frameworks like but not limited to Spring Boot and/or Quarkus and front-end libraries and frameworks like but not limited to ReactJS and Typescript
• Competent in applying modern design approaches like but not limited to SPA,
• Micro Services, N-tier, Identity Federation, laC Containerization
• A proper approach for work as senior full stack software developer: communication, self-responsibility, willingness to try new technology and support junior colleagues
• Professional experience in working with agile distributed teams
• Proven working experience with large software development projects
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written); German is nice to have
• Self-initiative and passion for proactive problem solving
• Effective team player in a corporate environment
