Job brief:
UITS is the central IT-Service provider for UNIQA group and therefore responsible for the central IT-services in all countries where UNIQA is representative. For empowering the team responsible for management of Intragroup contracts and calculations we are searching for an employee in this team.
IT Resilience Architect will strategically plan and design resilient IT systems and infrastructure within UNIQA with focus on efficient group-wide architectural approach to IT recovery backup sites. This role focuses on ensuring that IT systems can withstand disruptions, minimize downtime, and maintain critical business operations, even in the face of unforeseen events such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or hardware failures. By developing comprehensive architectural designs and models, conducting risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the IT Resilience Architect aims to safeguard organizational data, applications, and services while aligning resilience efforts with business continuity objectives.
Main Tasks:
- Design efficient group-wide architectural approach to IT recovery backup warm sites – physically and logically segregated from the source IT systems, for all UNIQA companies regulated by EU Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA)
- Align with Business Continuity Planning practice & goals in individual UNIQA business units
- Establish Resilience Frameworks
- Contribute to disaster recovery plans, including backup, replication, and failover procedures to ensure rapid recovery in the event of system disruptions.
- Identify potential risks to IT systems and infrastructure and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
- Contribute to IT Resilience Strategy and similar strategic documents
Required skills:
- Knowledge of at least one standard architectural framework, preferably TOGAF
- ability to deliver Enterprise Architecture models in at least one standard modeling language, such as UML, ArchiMate, BPMN or similar
- Cyber security knowledge
- Understanding of IT infrastructure
- Business continuity planning
- Disaster recovery planning
- Teamwork and ability to collaborate with other Enterprise Architects and colleagues across geographies
- Problem-solving and drive to deliver efficient designs
